What new development in science has your attention right now?
In 1998 David Chalmers bet a case of wine that the neural underpinnings for consciousness wouldn't be resolved in the next 25 years. I'm attracted to new studies of consciousness as a spectrum, and the ways consciousness itself runs interference on our understanding of it. In 2023, Chalmers won his case of wine. While the individual label/s are not known, it is reported the wine was Portuguese.
