What new development in science has your attention right now?
I've been thinking about breakthroughs in modern methods having cross-field impact. AI is the obvious example, and the recent Nobels in Chemistry & Physics demonstrate cross-disciplinary impact. I wonder what advances, past and present, are poised to have similar impact.
